Entered into our 2019 ZEISS Photography Competition by Visiting Researcher Victor Serdio.

Vertical liftoff of a 4" wafer deposited with thin films of Ti/Au 5/30 nm.

The viscosity of the liftoff chemical allows the peeled off gold to float and dance around the fluid. Recorded with a slow-mo camera.
