Alumnus Robert Kunzmann, COO at AC Biode, a cleantech start-up based in Luxembourg and Japan, pitched the company's success in depolymerising polyester terephthalate (PET) into methanol – a technology that he says “could turn the tide in plastic recycling”.
Robert was one of 18 presenters who was challenged to pitch her innovative idea to an audience, including a panel of judges, in just three minutes, as part of the #FallingWalls Lab Cambridge: eng.cam.ac.uk/news/competition-challenges-students-and-researchers-communicate-impact-ideas-three-minutes
The Falling Walls Lab Cambridge was organised by the Department of Engineering, @cambridgeuniversity , the Federal Foreign Office of Germany; and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
