From a rerun of 'Cannon' captured from KTIV-DT3 (MeTV) on February 7, 2018. The episode in question was 'Point After Death'. This was captured using NextPVR and a WinTV HVR-850 ATSC tuner; trimmed with FFmpeg.
I uploaded this separately a few months after I captured it because a user on the CLG Wiki (now AVID) requested me to do so, thinking that "since the EAS interrupted the logo, it counts as 'one of the many variations' of the V-of-Doom." Not even I really considered it as such, but I decided to re-upload it on it's own anyway.
Ironically, this is also the only time I have ever seen the Viacom V-of-Doom on MeTV. All of the other Cannon episodes I've seen were plastered with the CBS Television Distribution logo or cut straight to the station ID. Speaking of, this upload also includes the localized MeTV station ID from around this time, although unlike a previous upload this one is presented in full.
For the ones that really care, the tones are powered by a Trilithic EASyCAST Encoder/Decoder.

From June 27 to November 3, 2023, The Weather Channel has seemingly decided to bring back its famous Weather STAR 4000 (more accurately, its visuals) for an hour-long week-morning (3 AM CT) broadcast consisting of nationwide local forecasts with smooth jazz. Some may say that this is almost just like the real thing, although if I had to be perfectly honest, nothing can beat the real thing.
About the only critism I have about this (other than the font being used, admittedly its pretty close to whatever the 4000 used back in the day.) is the lack of Current Conditions icons, as the only icon set that appears throughout (from the amount that Ive seen of this) is often associated with the Regional Conditions/Regional Forecast segments.
The content provided is owned by The Weather Channel / Weather Group LLC / Allen Media Group. I am not affiliated with either company, just a long time fan of things like these. On the other hand, the music seems to be sourced from Transition Music according to YouTubes Content ID.
