Rendered using the latest micro displacement feature for Blender Cycles renderer. Size of micropolygon per pixel: 2. Render time was around 1 - 5 minutes per frame on a 12-core system depending on camera angle. The customized camera rig masked out geometry not visible within the screen otherwise this would have taken hours per frame.
