Vegan Mexican cuisine 🌱🇲🇽 was on the menu when we headed out to Port Moody on a Friday afternoon and decided to try Original’s, a Mexican restaurant with vegan options. 🌮✨
Original’s is located in a cute house 🏡 with a patio 🌿, while the indoor seating is divided up into separate rooms, giving the restaurant a cozy and unique atmosphere. 🕯️💕
Our server let us know that many of the menu items could be made vegan 🌱, although this wasn’t super clear just from reading the menu. We started with complimentary chips and salsa 🥑🌶️, but make sure you let the staff know you’re vegan because one of the salsas wasn’t vegan. ⚠️
For our meal, we shared the enchiladas 🌯, burrito 🌯, and a taco 🌮. The prices here are definitely on the higher side 💰 compared with other Mexican restaurants we’ve tried, so we were curious to see how the veganized dishes would measure up. 👀
