Vegan lunch at IKEA? Yes, it’s a thing, and we’re glad that IKEA is inclusive enough to include us vegans in their in-store restaurants. We weren’t sure what to expect from their menu and we hadn’t dined there in years, so it was interesting to see what they would have to offer. We started off by grabbing a vegan chocolate torte and then it was off to ordering hot food. You must order a combination for the entrees, so we had to order their vegan friendly balls - veggie and plantbased - with a side of fries and no sauce. It was really busy so we didn’t want to hold up the line by asking if anyone else was vegan, but the garlic bread, mashed potatoes, and soup were definitely not vegan. We also grabbed a couple of hot dogs which are available near the marketplace by the checkout area. Eating at IKEA is intriguing…is there anything else we missed eating while there?
