I've dealt with both failure and success when it comes to importing variegated fiddle leaf figs from Thailand and I'm here to give you my best advice.

The most important thing is to MAKE SURE your phytosanitary certificate says "ficus lyrata", if it only says "ficus spp" it will be destroyed by customs!
