Vardo's are traditionally a small shelter built for goat herders. They are designed to be towed into back country, and were originally designed to be pulled by goats! (the scene in Cold Mountain shows this well) These are some of the smallest thows in this market, and often they are rebuilt or updated from agricultural use.
Now Vardo's are popular craftsman designs, with lots of care put into them. I was surprised to only see one at this fair. They are easy to tow behind a small car or SUV.
