🔧 Van Upgrades, Maintenance & Big Plans for the Season! 🚐✨
Welcome back to another vlog! We're back chatting all things van life – from essential fixes to dream upgrades (yes... another one!). In this episode, we’re giving you the lowdown on what needs sorting, what we’d like to upgrade, and what we’re dreaming about for the future.
🛠️ Fixes & Must-Do Maintenance:
The leaky kitchen tap is getting worse (drip… drip… drip… 😩)
Our annual habitation check & final warranty visit is due
Time for new seat covers – the old ones have had it
A better mattress is high on the wishlist for comfier nights
🚲 Potential Upgrades:
Swapping our external bike rack for an internal garage solution (and yes, we're factoring in little Doris 🐶)
Possibly upgrading our electrical setup or inverter to power a few luxuries like a hair dryer 💁♀️ and, of course, Matt’s beloved coffee machine ☕
Exploring options for a Bluetti-style power bank as an alternative
🧼 Other Bits & Bobs:
Looking for a decent driver’s cab mat – any recommendations?
And yes… the van needs a proper wash!
🤔 We also briefly touch on future possibilities like air con and compressor fridge upgrades – but those are for another day. Maybe. Probably. 😉
