Caleta de Vélez 🇪🇸
Back to an old favourite! After spending twelve days in the same area, soaking up the sunshine and catching up with friends, the journey is back on the road. The plan is to slowly work along the coast again, with Caleta de Velez as the next stop, a favorite spot revisited from December. Getting into the aire is always a bit of a hassle, and this time was no exception, with the machine showing a payment made when it hadn’t, causing some confusion. Despite the chaos, the laundry situation was a success—although the tumble dryers were in high demand, which added a bit of comedy to the day. A stroll along the beach and some relaxing moments in the sun provided a well-deserved break. After exploring the local sights and markets, including picking up fresh olive oil and saffron, there’s a bit of a dilemma ahead—where to go next? With just over two weeks left before needing to return to the UK, there's a desire to stay along the coast and soak up the remaining sun, but with the unpredictable weather, the next destination is still up in the air. Wherever it leads, there’s no doubt the adventure will continue, filled with unexpected moments and beautiful scenery.
