Episode Notes:
1. Captured on real hardware.
2. The PSX edition of this retains the great art but suffers massive cutbacks in animation. There are also much longer load times.
3. Vampire Chronicle for the DC was sort of a mishmash of all three games mechanics. You could make it play like the first, second, or third. It also has a dedicated training mode and it had online multiplayer. Visually the Saturn version more than holds its own, however.
4. I am still in a bit of shock that Capcom never made another Darkstalkers game. It's been nearly 30 years now.
5. I have long wondered why SNK didn't use the 4MB RAM Expansion. It was screaming for it in some of their later releases.
6. Believe it or not, I have seen this game sell for under $30 on eBay regularly. Keep your eyes peeled and you can get it for an outstanding price. Even better if you go disc only.
