Episode Notes:
1. Captured on the Mega SG.
2. The original NES game is still my favorite release in the franchise.
3. My friend Tyrik could beat the NES version with ease. No joke. Went through it like it was NOTHING. It was maddening to hear him gloat. I was nowhere near as good.
4. I consider the SMS version the superior of the two.
5. There was an excellent Ninja Gaiden on the Game Boy. If Sega was gonna half-ass the Game Gear release, they should have just ported that.
6. There was a Ninja Gaiden in the works for the Sega Genesis, but it was canceled before completion.
7. If you were first introduced to Ninja Gaiden on the NES, chances are you are gonna hate these. It took me a while to warm up to them. They are very different games in feel and tone.
