If you thought compositing in blender wasn't fun before, this should change your mind.
In this blender compositing tutorial, we're changing the texture of our object but in blender's compositor. The render passes are super useful and fun to mess around with, especially the UV pass. And it's weird that no one is talking about the UV pass.
Anyway, with this technique, you can change textures of any objects in your scene assuming you have the UV pass enabled and your objects are uv unwrapped.
I think this is a good trick to keep in your compositing toolbox. You never know when you might need it.
