Look, we can discuss the quality of this type of music. Or if it even counts as music. I'm sure not many do. But where do you draw the line? In this case, the machine decides which notes to play (although technically, I'm giving it a group of notes to select from) - does that make it "not music"? What's with using an arpeggiator then? Most of those notes are also played by the machine. Or running a programmed pattern, or a sequencer track - that's also not your own fingers playing live. So, is this music? I honestly do not know. But I think that this question does not matter in the end. What matters is: Am I having fun creating and listening to this ... whatever you call it? Yes, I sure am.
