Using stencils in mixed media paper painting is a fantastic (and easy) way to get your creative juices going.
With stencils you can make layer after layer of pattern and depth. It puts a whole new spin on your artistic energy.
In this video, I show you some ways in which I use stencils when I’m hand painting papers.
I am also using some acrylic mediums and paints that are absolutely luscious, as well as compounds you can find in any hardware store. Wait until you see what we do with them!
Using a stencil is a great way to explore new ideas in your art.
