Grants Pass TV Repair | Using freeze spray or hot air to troubleshoot Circuit Boards and LCD display problems. @GrantsPassTVRepair | Uploaded 7 years ago | Updated 2 hours ago
There have been many occasions where I've found hot air and or freeze spray can be helpful in troubleshooting intermittent circuit board issues, or intermittent LCD displays problems. Here was one such instance where I applied a little heat to the edge of the display, and observed that the picture improved. Of course this is only a temporary fix. Loose ribbon cables can cause similar symptoms, but since the display connectors are on the top or bottom of the display, I think it's safe to say this is a bad display.
