To become partly invisible like Sue Storm (the Invisible Woman from in the Fantastic Four), roll a comic book in a tube and put it over your left eye. Put your open hand on the right side of the tube, in front of your right eye. Move your hand back and forth. While keeping both eyes open, you will see a hole through your hand. If you are having trouble, direct both eyes in the direction of your moving hand. The eye that looks through the tube doesn't see your hand, and your brain averages out what you see. If you're a one-eye pirate this experiment won't work...
