Sue Storm, better known as the Invisible Woman, probably has the power to give her body the same refractive index has her surrounding, hence letting light propagate through her without disruption, creating the invisibility effect. This effect can be reproduced in the lab by filling a pyrex beaker with glycerol (glycerine) since both material have the same refractive index.
The fountain of youth illusion is obtained by using two similar objects. One is hiding in the glycerol while the other needs to be broken and inserted in the glycerol.
