This video features two leading experts in consumer food waste research. One year after being awarded the 2024 USDA Food Loss and Waste grants, Dr. Brian Roe and Dr. Brenna Ellison return to share the results and expanded impacts of their initiatives. Dr. Roe will present findings from the Columbus, Ohio, and Denver, Colorado food waste reduction campaigns, offering a deeper analysis of how these pilot campaigns were received by local residents. Dr. Ellison will provide an update on the Center for Food Conservation and Waste Reduction’s growth, highlighting the success of the 2025 Food Conservation Challenge and showcasing the new tools available within their now-live website and resource library.
