First Look at the Saronic Corsair USV in Sea Power! In this modern naval warfare scenario, we test the devastating potential of the Saronic Corsair unmanned surface vessel (USV) against the Russian Baltic Fleet.
Our roleplay begins with a recently recommissioned USS Zumwalt (DDG-1000) striking a naval mine in the northern Baltic Sea, leaving the advanced stealth destroyer dead in the water. Sensing an opportunity, the Russian Navy launches an attack to finish the crippled warship.
Standing between the Zumwalt and destruction is a swarm of Saronic Corsair USVs, each configured as a one-way strike drone carrying a massive 1,000 lb warhead. Can autonomous naval drones overwhelm the attacking Russian warships before they reach their target?
