The M240 Machine Gun is a staple weapon system within the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC). Renowned for its extreme reliability, durability, and sustained firepower, it has been a cornerstone of Marine infantry battalions, vehicle crews, and aircraft since the late 20th century.
