Continuing our online enrichment series, we look at the Battle of Britain and how it impacted the outcome of WWII. Why discuss this in a US History class? Because planes are cool, that's why. I did not add photos of the planes as I would with an in-person lesson due to copyright issues. There is so much more to this but I only had 15 minutes. I could talk about the Stuka alone for about an hour. Seriously, it is probably an issue. If you have watched my other battles please know that the lack of a cool whiteboard to show the battle was difficult to deal with.
