The Groves 9th Grade Excel students are researching the qualities of good battlefield commanders. This is their third and final lesson before they turn in their argumentative essays.
This battle occurred in 1457 BC in present-day Israel. The Egyptians under Thutmoses III faced off against the Canaanites near Megiddo. The city is also called Armageddon. This is supposed to be the site of the final battle between good and evil at the End of Days. These students have learned so much in such a short time. I am very proud of them.
