HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! LOL
reading this book threw me right back into the timeless void of stories known as "dora's childhood". so many refrences to the fairytales i grew up with and the ever beautiful presence atmosphere of it all that is specific to slavic people and culture. it's been quite a while since a book made me feel the way this one did.... and i could write an essay upon essay about the characters and the writing style and the ache i feel whenever i finish this book. it's a good kind of ache, but still an ache.
some actors aren't description accurate and i am well aware of that and lily collins is a bit too american to pass as my nieszka but you know, there is this thing called
f o o t a g e c o n v e n i e n c e.
did i want to put more side characters in this? yes.
did i make too many manips and had to cut them mercilessly due to time contraints and keeping the flow intact? always.
did i start an aesthetic heavy project with a polish song that will probably never be finished? of course i did.
and lastly but not any less important: do i hope hollywood never makes this into a hollow dumbed down overly explained film with butchered pronaunciation of spells and names? absolutely yes. please don't.

► I was really unispired while doing this video so I apologise in advance if it seems odd, which certainly is. This is yet another entry for The Hogwarts Contest and the challenge was faceless multifandom video. This is the first time Ive ever done something like this... And its clear to me now that I shouldnt try doing it again haha
