Starting a new bass course is exciting, but finishing it is a different story.
That's exactly what cohorts are designed to fix. Since 2017, we've been running regular cohorts where you work toward a specific goal you define, upload recorded homework to a shared board, and have a personally assigned accountability coach who'll nudge you if you go quiet. Everyone's on the same schedule, so pushing it off to another day isn't really an option.
That structure is what will take your playing further than any other online teaching method I know of.
