Shot97 | "Up North" Trip With Friends - Super 8 B&W Film @Shot97 | Uploaded December 2014 | Updated October 2024, 29 minutes ago.
A Super 8 movie film shot in the upper reaches of Michigan's lower peninsula, October of 2014. Shot with Kodak Tri-X 200 speed black and white reversal 8mm film. Typical adventures I experience with my friend who lives in the middle of nowhere.
The Super 8 film format is the only way I know of to make armature home videos worth sharing. There's just something about it. The higher the quality becomes from digital cameras the lower the quality of interesting and memorable material coming from the average user.I can't imagine a better way to remember an event in your life than with Super 8 film.
Shot on a Bell and Howell 670/XL camera. Transfered to the digital realm by projecting the original film onto a sheet of paper and recording with a digital camera. Not the preferred method, but it came out pretty good.
