In a world where the Macventure games became huge or Infocom embraced graphics, you may never have seen the rise of Sierra or LucasArts. What may have been if those intricate and intelligent adventures survived into the 90's? We shall never know, but Uninvited along with the other Macventure games are the closest things we have to the original intent behind the text based adventures. Here that text remains the heart of the game, yet there's no shortage of things to play around with on screen. Here, the Amiga version shines ever so slightly brighter than other versions, at least in my eyes.

*Uninvited on the Amiga is best played in NTSC mode in a 4:3 aspect ratio.
