DESCRIPTION
In this video I am excited to show the contents of some of my upcoming course lectures about UE5. I will take a high level view of the project workflow from 3ds Max + Vray, into Unreal Engine 5 via Datasmith, and then on to finished results. Keep watching until the end to see the kind of results I am getting, and let me know if you like them or not. Also, I am interested to know what you think of UE5 for archviz. Is it working its way into your professional workflow. I’ll let you know my thoughts in the conclusion of the video.
Along with overview, I will also be creating and uploading some full lectures about this project from start to finish. Some of them will be made available here for free on YouTube, so make sure to subscribe and check those out when they become available.
**For years I have been talking about real time rendering, and how as technology and software advance, the gap between real time and offline rendering will become smaller and smaller. Unreal Engine 5 is a big step in that direction. Personally, I believe I have received results that would be MUCH harder to achieve working in 3ds Max. Rendering in real time is one thing (and Vray gives us this capability using Vantage or Vray RT), but actually WORKING in real time is a whole other thing. It just feels cool…and fun. Check out the video for my full thoughts, and please let me know what you think about it in the comments.
