Unreal Engine 5 Tutorial: Creating Running Races | Finishing Laps (Part 7)
We’ve been developing a modular racing system that can be added to any UE5 project — where players can **join the race** or **watch as NPCs compete**, complete with win/loss tracking and lap management.
In this episode, we take the system a step further by improving the **finish logic** and making the **races repeatable** for ongoing fun or replayable challenges.
Here’s what we cover:
✅ Fixing finishing laps for both NPCs and players
✅ Making the race system repeatable
✅ Testing multiple race loops
✅ Improving the flow for cleaner resets and race restarts
This makes the system more flexible for games that feature **looped minigames, tournaments, or dynamic events**.
