This is the first time I came across a unit that not only is capable to form 2 completely different shapes (in this case a sphere and a hyperbolic dodecahedron), but that can also form these shapes in such a way that they share a unit. Each shape alone is made with 12 units, the merge requires only 23 instead of 12+12=24.
