The surface represented here is the same one as in my earlier video where I used triangular units. named 'Lattice in hyperbolic space, puffed triangle unit, Ningboballs'. In todays video it shows more clearly that the cubic shape has cubic neighbors that are rotated over 45 degrees. The surface looks locally similar to the Neovius genus 14 or N14 surface, though that surface has chambers with 4 outgoing tunnels, whereas this hyperbolic surface only has chambers with 3 outgoing tunnels. The 6 pointed stars are made with octagons that are extended into curved squares. Connected stars can be created by removing a curved square from 2 stars (leaving 10 squares in total) and then connecting the open stars.
