This was on Thursday, February 29th, 2024, at the polling station in downtown Salem Massachusetts, at the Salem city hall annex. When I woke up on Thursday I saw a tweet from the lieutenant governor and ex-mayor of Salem Massachusetts Kim Driscoll. In that tweet she had a picture of herself within the guard rails of the polling station at the Salem city hall annex building. This is a direct violation of the voter pulling rules, As they have tried to stop me from filming on the outside of the guard rails meanwhile this government official can break the rules while taking a picture within the guard rails.
I was met with aggression and confrontation by all of the election officials and/or inspectors. Within the rules I got from the city clerk it states that you can take pictures and/or video but without audio. The next part under those rules is conflict negotiation and d escalation tactics that are supposed to be practiced by these election officials. I called the Secretary of State's office the voting division to ask what Massachusetts general law backs their rules. They gave me Massachusetts general law chapter 54 section 76 and told me to focus on the last sentence, which states "The use of electronic means such as tape recording equipment or radio broadcasting equipment for the recording or broadcasting of the names of voters not yet checked as having voted shall be prohibited." This M.G.L. has no punishment quoted if you violate this law.
