This incident happened on March 25th 2024, a protester had his signs protesting all levels of government Leaning against city hall in Salem Massachusetts. This man has a prosthetic leg and a disability scooter to get around, so it is nearly impossible for him to stand and hold his signs. The city, police and even the district attorney's office conspired against this protester to violate his first amendment right because they do not like the message that is on his signs.
The protest is about the cost of living going up in the city, the city selling out to big time developers, And the contradictory ways of the people in governmento what they are trying to push on the public compared to how they live. The city claims they are trying to help people that are homeless, every year the cost of living in the city including property tax, parking for residents and even a city tax on items purchased in the city go up every year. So their policies are actually causing more homeless yet they claim they are trying to prevent homelessness.
