Hello!! It’s been a long time! I can’t believe I’ve only uploaded two full videos in two and a half years. That’s fucking crazy. Here’s a showcase of all my current WIPs/unfinished projects to show that I am legitimately trying, haha! I think I’m currently just in a major all-around creative slump; I’ll probably bring my desktop to school with me this year just so I have it around in case inspiration strikes once again.

1. Kyo/Tohru - I Love You (0:00)

This video is actually a REMAKE of a video I made as a youth! This one: youtube.com/watch?v=go2ngg6tpdw It’s from 2014 and yet still one of my FAVOURITE videos I’ve EVER made and I wanted to try to recreate it with my current skills. Problem is that a) I keep running into a slump every time I try to edit it, and b) Vegas keeps CRASHING like every time I edit this file for more than half an hour. I do want to finish it at some point (that section during Angel Haze’s rap? Between “back to the intro” and that last “kyo will be confined” quote? Some of my best editing imo, I am extremely proud of that and want it to properly EXIST in the world), but when will I gather up the energy required to battle SV while I do it? We shall see.

2. TUA - Pork Soda (1:46)

I am OBSESSED with this SONG and have been since my old housemate showed it to me in like, late 2017. I started this after watching S1 and then got about this far, but I wasn’t really feeling what I’d already edited cause I think it’s a little too disjointed tbh. Some parts are *chef’s kiss* (that part with the knife transition? I am VERYYY proud of that to this day) and other parts are meh. But I DO want to just retry making this from scratch once I get around to watching S2 cause I desperately want this video to exist.

3. Euphoria - Withorwithout (3:20)

This is possibly my favourite song of ALL TIME. I have listened to it countless times on repeat for a little over a year now and it’s somehow BETTER every time I listen to it. I haven’t gotten tired of it once despite probably listening to it about 1000 times, at least. I couldn’t get this instrumental part out of my head and thought it would fit really well with the fluidity in Euphoria’s cinematography, so I slapped this part together in like half an hour one day just to get it out of my system. I was thinking of making a full video cause the lyrics would work really well, but I’m not currently inspired to finish it.

4. Little Women - Spotlight (3:47)

I uploaded a preview for this waaaaay back in the day, so the people that watched it might remember this one lmao. I was having fun with it until I finished this much, and then I realized I had no idea how to fill up the last third of the video. So it’s pretty much abandoned until further notice.

I LOOOOOOOVE HOW THIS LOOKS SO FAR AND I 100% INTEND TO FINISH IT SOMEDAY. It literally was abandoned until I rendered it for the purpose of this video and legitimately SHOCKED myself with how much I liked it after all. So I’m probably just gonna have to carve out some time to rewatch the whole show (I cannot for the life of me remember where anything is/what happens in ST, it’s very painful for editing purposes) and then I’ll finish it cause it’s already around halfway done.

6. Fruits Basket - Hollywood’s Bleeding (8:03)

Also 100% intending to finish this. I started it after S2E10 came out and intended for it to be like, a ~quick edit~ type of thing, but I didn’t edit it fast enough and then I fell behind in the show + felt it just looked a little sloppy in some parts (this also isn’t everything I have, there’s also a good chunk in the second part of the song that I didn’t include). So I’ll probably just catch up with the rest of what’s out and then clean this up + finish it cause I NEED this to exist, the song is perfect for the Sohma family, holy shit.

See I’m trying!! Lol. The last few months have been a little rough mental health-wise so I’ve been especially out of the editing mood on top of my already persistent creative slump. Things are already getting better though so hopefully I can get at least one of these done relatively soon.
