I DON'T TALK ABOUT FRUITS BASKET NEARLY AS MUCH AS I SHOULD ON YOUTUBE I'VE BEEN A FAN OF IT FOR 7 YEARS (i only read the manga 3-4 years ago but like it's been a part of my life for 7 years)
at one point i took the time to save the first 10 volumes onto my computer but i never got past that so i never made fruits basket videos. :(
but then yesterday i finished rereading it (for like the fourth time) and then i heard this song from this video: (youtube.com/watch?v=nxBxRPn_ROI) and i suddenly got inspired so i saved a few extra pages and then made this!!
there really isn't any significance to how the quotes are arranged or anything. there are a couple that i intentionally placed where i did ('i'm disillusioned", "this isn't what i wanted") but the rest of them were just placed at random. also some of the quotes were picked at random, too, since i had extra space for them but didn't feel like thinking too much about which ones to use since i've been working on this for five hours straight this morning (and about six-eight hours yesterday) and didn't even have breakfast yet haha
also i have the actual physical translated copies of the series, so if you're used to the online translations then they'll probably be a bit weird to you
kyo/tohru is the first ship i consciously shipped oh man it's my otp to end all otps. my #1. my forever ship.
and fruits basket is my #1 favourite thing ever oh my god it's so important to me it's such a big part of my life and who i am as a person. please read fruits basket
