Oh my GOD, this is finally done!!!

I started this video maybe like.........a week or so after S2 Act 3 premiered? So all in all I've been working on this for the past month or so. As much as I may genuinely love the process of editing, I am nothing if not impatient lmfao. So glad it's finally OVERRRRR I am never editing a video this long ever AGAINNNNN

But yeah — season 2!! I have many feelings about it. Many of them are mixed. Overall, now that I've sat with it for a few weeks (and sort of revisited parts of it through editing this plus my CaitVi video), my final opinion is that I liked it, but I didn't *love* it as much as I hoped I would. Narratively, everything that happened in season 2 made perfect sense to me, but I came out of each act (and the season at large, at the end) feeling like it was way too rushed. I think Arcane could've been a Perfect Show™ if it had been 3 seasons rather than 2. Or at the very least, if each episode of season 2 had been a full hour (or even 50 minutes probably??) rather than 40-45. Like, S2E6 should've been a season finale in myyyyyy opinion. But that's just meeeeeeeeee.

In general, though, I did still like it a lot. It was disappointing in some ways based on the almost unrealistically high standard that Arcane set up for itself after season 1, but based on like, most of your average shows out there, it's still one of the best imo. And if my main criticisms are about how Arcane wasn't perfect (but could've been!) rather than how Arcane was *bad*, then I think that's overall still a good thing.

In terms of the video itself: I have been wanting to use this song for a video SINCE MIDDLE SCHOOL!!!!!!!!! I'M NOT KIDDING!!!!!! I AM A 26 YEAR OLD FULL-TIME WORKING ADULT AND THIS HAS BEEN ON MY LIST SINCE I WAS 11!!!!!!! But I could never think of the Right Show for it, and I also always just had a feeling that my editing skills weren't quite up to par until the last couple of years to be able to make it How I Imagined It. Then Arcane came along *right* at the point that I got confident enough in my editing to start seriously considering this song again, and once season 2 dropped, I knew that it was finally TIME!!!!! And now it's here :) I'm actually SUPER happy with it! Arcane is a very funny show, though, in the sense that it has *too* much good footage that's usable for a video and even when a video is nearly 6 minutes long I can't fit all of the scenes I want to use (like...I think I only managed to get Sevika in there once 😭😭 sorry queen)
