so seeing as I do one of these every few years, I figured I'd gather all the projects from just before my hiatus until now and mash em together.

so, the videos!

00:00 - disengage: 2022
this was something I started a few weeks ago. i love this song (it's by technical dave), and I really wanted to edit with it. so the plan was to have a 'pixelated' angel. tbh i just lost inspiration for this and couldn't continue. (hence why some parts are just raw)
00:24 - burn it down: 2022/21
this was started in December last year, and I revisited in January (I think?) before I started fully switching to AE. not too much to say about this, just lost inspiration with it.
00:54 - putting the dog to sleep: 2022
this was just a little vent to process some emotions. I wanted to finish it as an actual video but final cut had other ideas. it kept crashing any time I tried to make changes rip.
01:33 - wall in my head: 2021
this was made the weekend of my graduation, last October. It was used to process some nervous feelings around it, but I never got around to finishing it.
02:13 - afire love: 2021
it's v v obvious I'm obsessed with these two, I wanted to keep going but couldn't find the inspiration, and I couldn't find a colouring I was happy with 😂
02:25 - good 4 u: 2021
an effects and movements test in final cut from last year! I never went back to finish it, but I was happy enough with the clip choice so I figured it was worth a render.
02:51 - poor george: 2021
so I might actually go back and remake this one at some point. I was (and still am) obsessed with the Brokenstar/Yellowfang MAP with this song and found it was really well suited to TLK. once I get a bit better with AE I might start again and make it a bit clearer. (and plan out the story this time round too)
03:50 - the chain: 2021
this was one of my entry ideas for the Augmented Reality contest, before I switched over and made my 'right sarah lynn' simba and kiara video. but I was still happy with some of the aesthetics here
03:59 - animal: 2018
this is so ancient. it was just a test with effects, and trying out some new media.
04:09 - fairground test: 2018
another relic from the archives! this was from when I was playing around with Motion 5 and photoshop.
04:19 - burn: 2018
this was a typography test when I was experimenting with it. nothing too special about this one, I had some big ideas for it but I honestly forgot to go back to it.
