oNTO THE VIDEO [another 2+ minute video in 2 weeks, what kind of s o r c e r y is this??]
so I stumbled across this song again, and id forgotten how much i loved it. I was getting strong sarabi vibes while relistening to it, and tbh she deserves more love.
I kinda went down the route of a semi-AU i guess? nothings canon but when I was younger I was convinced thats what happened prior to the film xD
In summary: the video is about Sarabis loss and her past. In her youth, sarabi was torn between both Mufasa and Scar. She felt more for Scar, and Mufasa wasnt all that happy with that, thus getting into a fight with his brother. Knowing hed be at risk, and that Sarabi would never be queen with him, Scar makes the choice to leave (instead of talking it out with her, like you would in a healthy relationship oops). Sarabi gets with Mufasa, and the rest is basically the plot of TLK1, with a reference to Scar still being the one who loved her most. i know the text probably feels a bit repetitive. i did want to have typography there, but i still wanted the main focus to be on the clips themselves, especially with never wanted to leave being repeated so often c:

Whats this, an actual AMV/Animash type upload? Im shook too.
Sorry I havent been uploading anything related to animash, its honestly been too long since Ive made something like that. I was clearing out my laptop and found this old project, from early/mid 2018, and realised it was never uploaded. So I figured Id upload it now and let yall know whats going on.
Where have I been? So Ive graduated from university, and currently working fulltime for the holidays. My girlfriend and I are now living together with our cat Luci, who is chaotic and loveable. Any spare time I have Ive been putting towards animating and writing, and any short films or full-length animations I make Ill post here. Any practice animations or MAP parts Ill post onto my art account: the-courage-of-stars. I plan on getting back into these kinds of edits too, so hopefully, yall will get to see those. Im also working on setting up a production group with some of my friends IRL, and our focus will be LGBT+ films.
I just wanted to say thank you to you guys too, the years Ive spent creating AMVs and Animashes have honestly shaped my love for animation and filmmaking, and I wouldnt be pursuing that path without this place. The friends Ive made here have been so wonderful, and I could always rely on. And to them, Im sorry I havent been around as of late. Because of this, Id love to dedicate this to:
