Today we are unboxinga new brand for me, but one of the oldestfrom China. Shanghai watches was foundedin 1955 and this Limited Edition model celebrates that.
Limited to 700 pieces for the 70th anniversaryof the brand, it is gorgeous and original in looks.
Powered by the Seagull ST2130 that beats at 28.800bph and comes with both hacking and hand winding it is a sized at 39mm while remaining quite thin.
It is also availablein 31mm as a ladies version, and I wish they offered a 36mm version as THAT would be a perfect size for me, and then it would definitely stay as a part of my collection.
Shanghai watches were known as Rolex of China back in the day because of the quality they had compared to other brands, even though they all used the same Chinese standardized movement.
