Step into Classic Video Gaming History with this Original 1982 ColecoVision Expansion Module #1 and Expansion Module #2.
The ColecoVision Expansion Module #1 – The Atari 2600 Adapter (Model No. 2405)
This was Coleco's mic-drop moment.. Expansion Module #1 let ColecoVision owners play Atari 2600 games directly on their system. That meant access to over 400 additional games right out of the gate.. That was a massive power move during the early console wars.
It connected directly into the ColecoVision expansion port on the front of the console. Inside, it contained much of the Atari 2600 hardware architecture, including a clone of the MOS 6507 CPU. It had its own cartridge slot and switch-style controller ports, just like the Atari 2600.

CPU: MOS 6507 clone (same as Atari 2600)
Video: TIA (Television Interface Adapter) chip (replicated)
Input: Standard Atari joystick/paddle compatibility
Cartridge Slot: Supports original Atari 2600 cartridge
The ColecoVision Expansion Module #2 (Model No. 2407) Steering Wheel & Pedal Setup (Driving Controller) with the Arcade Video Game Turbo by Sega. It takes 4-C Batteries.
This Expansion Module #2 turns your ColecoVision into a Home Arcade Racing Machine. It was made to work with select racing titles like Turbo, Destructor and Bump ’n’ Jump.
This plugs into the player one controller port (not the expansion port). The steering wheel provides analog-like precision with the pedal functioning as a pressure-sensitive gas input.
