*Warplock is a 1982 video game for the Atari 2600 where players use tachyon whachamacallits to level Hypertime and earn points.
The game has been described as a combination of Space Invaders and Breakout. Players use Atari paddle controllers to shoot space pirates.
Piloting your space craft to the outer reaches of the galaxy, on the fringes of hyperspace and hypertime, you find you are trapped in a Space/Time Warp the immobilizes your ship. From nowhere comes a band of space pirates out to destroy you and your crew. Your Tachyon Launcher, firing lethal particles that travel faster then light is still operational, but even this space-age artillery can't save you unless your fighting reflexes are in top form.
*Encounter at L-5 is a 1982 video game for the Atari 2600 which is a Space Invaders-style game in which you take control of an Antimatter Launcher to protect yourself and your fellow colonists of L-5, a remote outpost in the furthest reaches of space. Wave after wave of Megalyte warships come down with lasers blasting determined to wipe you and your fellow human scum from the face of the universe.
You control your ships with the paddle controllers. Moving the paddle left and right adjusts the sight cursor located at the top of the screen. Pressing the fire button causes your Antimatter Launcher to appear on the surface of the planet and start rapid-firing toward your cursor. Adjust the cursor to aim your shots and release the button to hide your launcher under the planet's surface again.
*Bermuda Triangle is a 1982 video game for the Atari 2600 which is a game of deep sea plundering. Piloting a minisub, your mission is to dive to the bottom of the ocean and recover mysterious artifacts that may hold the key to unlocking the secret of this dreaded region.
As you dive, watch out for many obstacles that stand in your path. Giant squids, sharks, aquatic drones and mines must be avoided or destroyed.
If you make it to the bottom of the screen, press down to activate your sub's tractor beam. You can pick up such artifacts as the Tachyon Modulator Unit, the Water Dissociation Module, and the Korbinian Cube. Avoid the Bermuda Bomb, which will destroy your ship if you try to pick it up.
After you have collected an artifact, return to the surface and deliver your payload to the research ship above. But look out for rival ships, they will try to steal your cargo and destroy your sub. Players start out with three subs and receive bonus subs every 10,000 points.
There are two variations of Bermuda Triangle, with one-player and two-player variety of each. On the easy game, a deadly sea laser enters into play after you score 10,000 points. In the harder game, the laser is present at the beginning of the game.
