Ah, Trover Saves the Universe.. Now we're talking about a Wild, Hilariously Raunchy Ride.. It's a game that promises crude humor, questionable life choices, and a whole lot of me wondering what the hell I just got myself into..
This is my first time playing, so expect pure chaos, terrible decision making, and probably a few moments where I just sit there wondering, 'WTF?' Also, since this is from the Rick and Morty guy, there's a scientifically proven chance of at least one brain-melting, reality-warping line that’ll leave me questioning existence.. or, you know, just laughing my ass off...
This game was developed by Squanch Games, the studio co-founded by Justin Roiland, the co-creator of Rick and Morty. So if you’re expecting absurd humor, weird aliens, and plenty of fourth-wall-breaking nonsense you’re in the right place..

What's The Story About?
You play as a Chairorpian (yes, that’s what you are), a species that never leaves their floating chair. Your dogs have been stolen by Glorkon, a crazy alien with godlike powers who shoves them into his eye sockets to gain ultimate power. That’s where Trover, a purple, sword-wielding, foul-mouthed sidekick, comes in. Together, you set off on a ridiculous adventure to stop Glorkon and save the universe..
Let's Talk Gameplay...
It’s an action-adventure platformer with puzzle elements. You control both yourself (seated in your chair) and Trover as you explore bizarre alien worlds. Combat is simple but fun, Trover swings his lightsaber like weapon, and you can upgrade him as you progress. The game is fully playable in VR, but you can also play it without VR.
Why is this game so KILLER?
The Humor: It’s packed with Rick and Morty-style dialogue, ridiculous characters, and moments where the game actively mocks you.
The Voice Acting: Justin Roiland voices Trover, and it’s got that classic, improvised feel.
The Worlds: Each level is unique, filled with grotesque-yet-hilarious alien creatures and bizarre environments.
Choices Matter (Kind of): Your dialogue choices sometimes change how characters react, leading to even more unexpected hilarity.
