I made this video specifically for Serena's horse Cody, who's registered name is The Kings Omen. I felt the need to make a video to solely appreciate this horse because he truly is one of the most amazing horses I've ever met.
I owe so much to this giant, dog-like pinto. I owe it to him that I have my best friend/girlfriend. He was the first horse I ever galloped on too.
There's just something about him that is so stunning to look at, aside from his beautiful coat and adoring personality. When he's ridden he always gives 110% and you can just see it in his face. He always flattens his ears when he canters and Serena once told me that's how he shows that he's giving it his all. He always tries his heart out for you and you can just see how much he loves to run and be free and it's something that's almost magical to watch. In the time I've known him he truly has been an unbeatable horse.
Having never owned a horse I sometimes feel like this boy is the next best thing even if he is hundreds of miles away. I found his ad and I thought he was beautiful, everything we were looking for. And he turned out to be everything and more.
I don't express my affections for Cody often but I really do love and cherish this horse and the way he's impacted my life. I sometimes laugh because of how long and spindly his legs are or how he sometimes looks like he has a beak when riding but I love all his little quirks. Most of all, I think I love how sweet and affectionate he is as its so rare for me that I meet a horse that has as much love to give as Cody.
