1018 vs DX-17

Ok, the DX does outperform the 1018, and the German engineers made valuable upgrades and improvements.

But I still really like shoiting the 1018 since it has a great look, nice feel, and better hard sights. But because of the traditional Marksman trigger, the 1018 really performs best at 4 yards. I do get strings, when at my best, of 4 cans in a row, then step back to 5 yards and shoot at one can, getting a one-shot-one-kill conclusion.

The DX17 can can do that at 5 and 6 yards.

Here is shooting doctor getting max accuracy from DX. I do want to remark that Umarex zinc coated BBs perform well in DX and my best Red Ryder. For my Ryder, I will only use elite BBs to prevent jams.
