We celebrated Ula's 12th rescue anniversary at Clearwater Marine Aquarium today! 🐢 🎉
Ula is a green sea turtle that likely suffered a boat strike injury before she was found floating on April 2, 2013. Ula developed a distinct humped shell and a buoyancy disorder that prevents her from remaining submerged. Now, Ula receives daily care at CMA, and we provide tactile enrichment to help her shed her scutes while building stronger bonds with her animal care team.
