Meet some UCSS volunteers and Zion National Park staff in this video! The Utah Cultural Site Stewardship Program had a great day in beautiful Zion National Park with two of Zion’s archaeologists and several UCSS volunteers. Due to the high visitation rates in Zion National Park, several of their publicly accessible sites are seeing more and more traffic. UCSS volunteers are an amazing resource to help keep an eye on these areas and to notify the cultural resource team of any damages or changes during their visits.
UCSS is looking forward to our continued partnership with Zion National Park, and we appreciated the time Joe and Elizabeth took to help get some UCSS stewards on the ground!
