It may be getting colder outside, but that doesn’t mean you won’t encounter wildlife — as UCSS volunteers recently discovered when they encountered this 🐍rattlesnake!🐍 Hopefully any rattlesnake experiences you have will be from a safe distance or behind a screen.

Remember to:
- Stay aware of your surroundings and where you’re stepping when outdoors
- Give any wildlife you meet plenty of space
