This was something I had come up with where I just merged the Zord battle from Episode 1 of Power Rangers Cosmic Fury with the Kyuranger version of the same battle. In this, the Kyurangers are fighting Ollie in his Squidrill. All I did was add the villain scenes from Cosmic Fury into the Kyuranger battle. I am not sure if I'll do this with some of the other battles, especially the ground fights and that would be quite hard. I'd be doing a repeat of what was done in the second season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers where the first 13 episodes depended on splicing the Zyu2 monster footage with the Dairanger mecha footage. I actually tried to do this with the Cosmic Dragon Zord debut battle, but I didn't think that went very well because in the Kyuranger episode, the Kyuranger theme song plays during that battle, and it can still be clearly heard even with new music added. Not sure if I could do the Inksworth battle since the villain stays the same in that one as it is a giant villain instead of a villain piloting a robot.
I added English subtitles for both the English and Japanese-speaking characters. I thought about only doing that for the Japanese-speaking characters, but I decided to have subtitles for every character. Oh, and I didn't make any changes to the subtitles for the Japanese-speaking characters. They are all the same as what the fansubs we've got are, which are subject to accuracy.
I know that Ollie's fate is left unknown. In the original Power Rangers episode, Amelia teleported in and got him out before the Megazord finished the Squidrill off, and yet he still remains evil for the next eight episodes. I couldn't think of any good way to get Amelia in there without making it seem like out of nowhere since she isn't piloting the megazord in this version. It is up to the viewers to decide what Ollie's fate here is.
Thankfully, I was able to get this video up without any copyright issues. I guess it could be because the Kyuranger footage copyright is not as strict as the Cosmic Fury footage is and I didn't use any Cosmic Fury footage to last long enough for it to get blocked for copyright (at least as of the time I uploaded this video)
Update for 8/14/24 - I did try to make an extended version of this battle that included the scene of Amelia teleporting into the cockpit of the Squidrill because I didn't like how Ollie's fate was left unknown, but unfortunately, despite cutting down the footage, the copyright system didn't like that and that version of the video got blocked. I may try to cut it down even more, but there is a chance that will get blocked as well. At least this video was uploaded without any issues.
