Now here is one I think is interesting. I honestly think that Bajillia Naire as well as Squillia could have worked out as villains for a proper full-on adaptation of Kyuranger where the suits are actually used. This pretty much gives some idea of how that would have gone. Although, I would not imagine Ollie appearing as an evil Ranger if they went in that direction unless perhaps the story was that the rest of the Rangers had their powers destroyed and the Kyurangers took over for them.
As for why it appears as daytime for the villains and nighttime for the Rangers, perhaps the Rangers are on the other side of the planet from the villains. Although, in Kyuranger, it didn't actually become nighttime. The sky just got darker when they summoned their zords for this episode, even though that didn't happen in every episode before and in most episodes after. The battle also only looked like it happened on the moon in Kyuranger for some reason because the scenario changed to look like that, but reverted back to its proper setting when the battle was over. They dropped that for Cosmic Fury, but that doesn't excuse them for not using the Kyuranger suits as I would have accepted them dropping the scenery chance plot if the suits were kept in as they should have been.
