What’s it like to be in a class at UChicago? In “Intro to Genres: The River’s Running Course,” students took an inspirational kayaking trip down Bubbly Creek, a southern branch of the Chicago River. The creative writing course, taught by Asst. Prof. of Practice Stephanie Soileau, explored rivers across literary genres and culminated in a final writing project inspired by the river.
